Life As We Know It- Changing Frequencies

When you think of your life, how do you see it? Do you see what it is as it exists right now, or living in the past? Is it based on someone else, a career or job, or do you live your life based on how others see you? Or how you want others to see you?

In a recent study done by Pew Research, there has been a significant change over the last four years in how people view what is more important in their life. Overall health and wellness, family, jobs, travel and finances, which have in previous years been major concerns in life, have been replaced with concerns about society, their freedoms and a stronger connection with outdoors and nature. (There are many studies and articles done about the changes in people’s perception of quality and meaning of life, but to save time and avoid discussing each of them here, as well as the factors involved, I will refer you to research it via Google or  See this interesting article)

Over the years I have met many different types of individuals. Sometimes I would hear them speak about how negative their life is. Many times it was the life altering negativity that they would wish to change, but never would. When the magic wand they wished for never did appear, they accepted these things as challenges that they must submit to in order to overcome adversity. I often wondered if this was an actual thing or if it was a way of coping with something they didn’t know how to change?

Some saw that the only way to deal with their life is to scrap and fight others for what they thought they needed, while others would point fingers at someone else to blame them for the position they were in, only to find doing this would make things worse for everyone involved.

Each had different ethnic and/or socio-economic backgrounds, different family histories and different educational backgrounds.

But the one thing in common between each of the individuals is that they continue to take the same path, over and over.

What none of them saw, or if they did would accept, is that regardless of who we are, what our history or background is or the position we are at in our lives, everything comes down to us as individuals. If you want to make changes in your life, make the decision to choose a different path.

I had been told that they don’t know any other way. If this was true, would we not be having the conversation inquiring how to change paths? That it’s not what we are seeing, but how we are seeing it. It’s not just hearing, but also listening.

For example… If I ask someone if they believe there are other living beings outside of our world (IE: extraterrestrial/aliens etc…), most people actually say they do believe. (Again, there are many polls done on this topic, too many to speak of here, but google is your friend).

If the legitimacy of the existence of extraterrestrial life were proven true today, then a majority of people who have been fighting with each other (or fighting society) would have to stop and re-evaluate the importance of what they know. What they believe. What they are taking up arms about. How we live each day, each moment. What life is truly about.

So what does believing in aliens really have to do with this? Honestly, it’s more about changing our perception of things. Knowing that if something else existed, it would radically change the way we thought about ourselves. About others. About the things around us.

And what it truly comes down to is that no matter the differences we have and fight about here on earth, most people honestly want to believe there is more to life than all of this. Which is a good thing I think, and makes me have faith in humanity.

Then why are we choosing to argue over the better race, the better culture, who’s more powerful, who is happier?

Why do we continue to close our eyes to the beautiful things around us and put our attention toward Tik Tok videos or social media opinions? Things that will never give us the answers, or help lead us down the right path to live life differently.

Is this life we live what we really want? Are we basing it off of someone else, our history or can we all agree that life is actually bigger than we are allowing into our hearts? That none of the things we spend our time worrying or thinking about really truly matters.
