My name is Tamara Hill, I am a wife and mother of 4 children ages 6-19. I hold a BA from the University of North Carolina Greensboro, and have been serving as a director and manager for non-profits for over 20 years. I have experience working directly with young children and youth as well as with adults, especially older adults.
I enjoy hobbies that not only clear my mind and experience life, but ones which allow me to utilize as many senses as possible. For example, cooking is a relaxing way that I can use many senses and create something beautiful for myself and others to enjoy. Playing and teaching music allows me to meditate and create something that is uplifting spirituality in myself or for others. Traveling and reading allows me to experience the world, its cultures, colors, sounds and people.
I have lived all over the United States and have been very fortunate to have been able to meet many wonderful people in my life who have taught me something about myself, the world or about life itself.
For centuries people have been searching for the cures to many ailments, both physically and psychologically. Although I do not claim my writings are a cure for anything, nor are they meant to be substituted for medical treatment by any means, I do believe firmly in the ability for the human spirit and body to help itself in the process of healing.
With positive thoughts and taking time to step away from the day to day “craziness”, I hope that something I write on this site touches you, or helps bring positivity and goodness to your life.
